Do you ever feel like a victim of circumstance?
Maybe you had a tough upbringing and lived through adverse childhood experiences like I did. Maybe your parents were not present and did not teach you how to be successful in life. Maybe your spouse or partner has been holding you back by dismissing your ambitions or attacking your self-esteem. Or maybe a change in the economy has led to cuts or lay-offs and has resulted in the loss of your job, business or career.
If you’ve experienced any of these situations in your life, I can appreciate how painful they can be and how they can make you feel.
I understand that they can imprint memories and beliefs in your subconscious that can cause stagnation and pain years later.
But the time has come to let them go.
IT’S TIME TO STOP “THE BLAME GAME.”
The only thing you truly have control over in this life is YOU.
The sooner you stop wasting your energy on blaming other people or events for your circumstances, the sooner you can reclaim that control and create the life you truly want. Now blame can be a difficult thing to let go of. But you have got to understand the power that you are giving the people or the events that you are blaming. You are letting them prevent you from moving forward. That’s not what you want is it?
So to help you reclaim total control over your life I’m going to share one of my most powerful – success tools.
I’m talking about the power of VISUALIZATION also known as Guided Meditation. I shared a type of Guided Mindfulness Meditation with you yesterday in Day 3 of your 5-Day Transformation.
Visualization is the act of creating vivid and compelling pictures in your mind so you can “see” your success before it happens.
This might sound simple, but it is one of the most powerful and underutilized success tools out there.
Visualization trains the brain to achieve more. Science proves it.
Several studies conducted by Harvard have found astonishing outcomes that through visualization exercises in advanced performed tasks (E.g. learning to play the guitar or increasing your fitness level) between two control groups, one that did the activity and the other that simply visualized doing the activity. When scans of the brain were taken before and after visualization the results from both groups, those that did and those who only visualized had similar neuro-activation outcomes. Isn’t that amazing?
Watch the video above to learn how you’re going to do this – and then proceed below to claim your free gift and complete today’s assignment.
Step 1: Create a list of 5-10 blaming behaviors you are going to eliminate from your life from this point forward. (E.g., “I’m no longer going to blame my childhood adverse experience for my lack of success in life.”)
Step 2: Create a list of NEW behaviors you are going to use to reclaim total power over your own life. (E.g., “Whenever I feel resentment towards the person who hurt me, I’m going to consciously practice love and gratitude instead.”)
Step 3: Share your intention with a supportive community by participating in the Facebook conversation below.
